I love the expanded cities and the additional villages given to major factions so they seem more realistic. I can't vouch for other overhauls besides some of Living World which was also nice, but Genesis in its current version is a solid experience. ![]() I've suggested a few things in their Discord that have been changed or added if it was thought it'd be good to add. There's still a lot of work to be done on it but the team cares a lot about the project and they take all feedback to heart. I'd give it a shot before you decide one way or the other. My hardware is awful though and it's still a reliable frame rate and loading time with Genesis and other mods. The town designs are fantastic though I could see how some would be over the top and hit performance - there certainly are an abundance of populated areas now and that is kind of a bummer sometimes. Like I said, not a lot of performance issues that don't exist already in vanilla besides Mongrel. I'm really not sure what the beef other people seem to have with it is. Calling it vanilla enhanced is a solid way to frame it imo. I've spent probably most of my time in Kenshi after the first vanilla playthrough running Genesis and I would wholeheartedly recommend it. I don't get much worse performance using Genesis than I did in vanilla.
